I can't stop snickering...

Postby Dez » Wed May 09, 2012 12:36 pm

....if the Force Organizational Chart no longer exists in 6th Edition and is based on Percentages like Warhammer Fantasy....I can't wait to play a mob of Weirdboyz!

I imagine it's going to be a lot like 8th Edition, where you'll only be able to have a Max of 2-3 of the same choice.

I'm not listening to any of these rumors though. After that debacle with the "leaked" codex, there is no telling what is true and what isn't. I wouldn't be shocked if GW was leaking stuff on purpose. Supposedly 6th edition 40k is only a month or two away, possibly 3.

If course, moving 40k toward the way Fantasy runs is probably a move that will mean little. Fantasy moved toward 40k, and arguably didn't work as well as it used to. Lots of people talk about how amazing 2nd edition was, maybe moving back toward that and Fantasy will shake up 40k sufficiently.

As much as I loved 5th ed when it first came out, it certainly has diminished in the past year or so. Regardless of the changes I just hope it will breathe some new life into the game.
And Dez Id love to see a mob of Weirdboys fielded. Oh the random mishaps all over the table.

Even if it isn't legal, I'd face off against it.

I fail to see what's stopping you from doing it now. It's not like apoc games are all that rare around here.

I haven't heard about any Apoc games in months. Are they club only now?

No, they are not club only. They generally happen every 2-3 months. I don't know when the next one is, but I would imagine that there will be another one in the next month or two. I think the date is on slate at our next officers meeting.

People play mini apoc games all the time. Just grab some friend with large army.
