Fine. what do i know? everyone complains about new models being OP and the new must have, and now they make something neat, and looks cool, and seems balanced, and would be a neat addition, and the complaints still happen because it isnt op and the new must have.

No one is advocating for OP/must have units though? Like I can't really think of any release recently that was considered OP in any fashion. The Gorkanaught was met with a solid "meh" from most people, the two new vehicles from the Space Marine book are kinda garbage, hell the CSM got a whole new unit and it's complete garbage (warp talons). The last "OP" unit I can recall is the Knight, and that really got gross once they introduced the Adamantine Lance formation.

It just seems odd that they're releasing Yet Another Monstrous Creature for an army that doesn't really need it, after what was kind of a downgrade codex earlier this year. If the new MCs helped shore up their weakness, fine, but neither of them really seem to fill any important niche in the army or help buff troops or...anything, really, that couldn't be done already with existing units.

Well this certainly changes things, eh? Even makes the previous releases a bit better.

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

It's a triple-kit. Not bad, I suppose. Spore clusters look hilarious.

Also, Zoanthropes and Venomthropes aren't on GW's site anymore. They might be getting a new kit soon, going by speculations.

Dose anyone else think the new transport should detect invisible units
If you can't dazzle them with brilliance baffle them with BS. If that doesn't work, riddle them with bullets.

The new transport and zoanthropes are pretty sweet looking. Great to see the spores return to the army.

GW released the rules for the Toxicrene and Maleceptor for free, which is one hell of a surprise.
