It just it inflicts D3 wounds, nothing specific one way or the other. And, how is that OP? It's call a Turbo-Penetrator, FFS. So it's good enough to pierce a tank but not an Eldar? C'mon...

I cant really complain seeing as my weapons can take down enemies regardless of toughness. Also the sheer amount of firepower I have helps too.
Fantasy is cool. Sci-fi is cool too. But when you combine them, they become even cooler.

I don't have the rulebook in front of me, so this might be different, but the way wound multiplies generally work is that the wound is allocated and then multiplied to that model. So if the model has multiple wounds it suffers more than one. If it's a one-wound model, it dies like whoa but the excess wounds are lost.
