Sisters of Battle in the Fall (My Opinion) UPDATED: New Info

Postby J Rzasa » Sun Mar 06, 2011 2:25 pm

Look through the GW site. You can't buy units of anything, only blisters. Unless they are going Dark Eldar, and Direct Only, I'd say we're looking at a re-launch in the next 6 months or less.

Good catch. Maybe it will more easily allow a pure Inquisition force as Daemonhunters once did. =) Even if not, plastic sister kits are LONG overdue.

It's actually been like that for a few months I believe.

It hasn't been that long. I was looking at it not too long ago. We'll see. We should start hearing about May soon. May should be a Fantasy Month, and June is rumored to be the Flyer month. July would be Fantasy, we could see Sisters in August maybe?

speaking of "flyer" month- i'd love to see them bring chao's flyer (deathclaw pod) to plastic! i mean, it saves them half the work.. they have the rules and stats, and a model to go from... *crosses fingers*

Death Claw would be awesome. There really hasnt been much talk of chaos flyers, so those would be perfect.

Im all for an updated sisters book.

I'm not so sure on the Sisters in August. Last I knew, Jes was working on the sculpts but not happy with them. I don't know if they will get the Squat treatment or if they are just clearing stock...maybe new boxes? I'm not saying it won't happen, but from new/rumors from different sources I'm not so sure.

I also hear there was 'Writing Troubles' on the Necrons, and they got pushed back and will be a multiple writer project. Which some may like, as it's Mat Ward originally on the job.

One other thing of note, is that the Orcs and Goblins Battleforce is no longer available.

Well, funny you say that. I was reading some rumors a few weeks ago, maybe a few months ago, that someone saw the models close to being finished. Something about armor being really feminine, the bolters being more feminine, something about veiled heads. That coupled with all the units missing, I'd say they are inbound sooner than later.

That thou shouldst spare none,

We beseech thee, destroy them.
