Always reminds me of a Penny Arcade when there were rumors about a Firefly MMO. The title was "More cautious than optimistic." It guides me through things like this. Sounds like it COULD be cool. Mordheim can also be very cool when they finish it. Very nice start so far.

And yeah, it seems there are a TON of games coming out this year: Regicide (40k chess with orks and marines), Mordheim, this one, rumors of a BFG game coming, Warhammer: Total War. My concern is that GW will forget about us tabletop gamers and move into the video game realm.

That is quite the bloodthirster. Can't wait to see the full model.

I loathe the way they've sculpted every bat-wing style thing in Warhammer. Take a good look at those Bloodthirster wings, and then look at some legitimate ones: http://i1.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article ... 556397.jpg

Not even remotely similar. His wings look like they're wearing oversized pajamas or something.

This could be very good! I hope it's done well. It could be an amazing L4D port.

I wonder if it'd be close combat based, with toned down weapons (L4D close combat was overpowered even with a punch). Or if it'll have things like bows, slings, magic, etc.

Well this pretty much confirms Reality Balls for 9e.

Also sucks to be you, Wood Elves.

Unless if by sphere they are talking about the world. Is that the last page of the new book?

Yup.

Basically, the Old World is gone, eaten up by Chaos who invariably won. The elves are indicated as to having saved a couple of their people in some separate 'dark realm' and will possibly be able to recreate their race anew; there's a heavy implication that this is all part of a cycle, either the beginning of it or just another iteration, so the history and events of WHFB are just one instance of it.

So it's either Reality Balls, or they're doing a setting reboot ala DC's New 52. I can't tell which is worse.
