Yep, busy as always!

Here's Joss. I tried out an OSL technique that someone posted in another thread; I can't say I'm unhappy with the result, but I need more practice with this particular way. Gotta go back and touch up on him too.

And finally, Mobile Toolkit. Who is adorable.

looking good. I like the lighting on Joss, but Im not sure about the shirt color. It looks almost like the Axe lighting is making the shirt that color as well. Could be different in person though.

I was really at a loss for a good shirt color that wasn't blue, so I just kinda went for a slightly dirty white. The final layer was P3's Frostbite, which does give it a slightly blue hue to it.

And yeah, everything looks better in person. My camera is pretty much horrible.

wow, Joss came out awesome. love the axes. i do kinda agree with kev though, on the shirt. its a bit too stark for my tastes... but thats mostly just personal preference, the whole model is prtty sweet. :D

the mobile toolkit is one of the cutest things ever, i still think it looks like an AI core from Portal. also. the lighting on him is amazng.

Finished up Ramos yesterday, but forgot to take a pic until about...oh, 10 minutes ago.

As always, camera sucks, so it looks odd etc etc etc.

I really like how the lighting came out on Ramos. Nice and subtle on him.

ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

i didnt' think he could look cooler than he did.
I was wrong. :D that is so damned sweet. my ONLY issue with it, is that his colors are so subdued. but thats really more personal preference than anything..... it does bring out the light from the streetlamp nicely though, and it makes the lighting on him more obvious. if that makes sense.

damn. i'm impressed. :D

That was my goal, really. OSL works better on darker colors, and color obviously goes to darker shades the further away from a light source it is, so I wanted to go for a lighter tone mixed to darker starting with his bowler hat. I didn't get the gradient effect like I had originally wanted, so I had to compromise a bit and just make it more subdued, but in the end I'm not terribly disappointed.
