nice, he is one of the few neverborn models i like.

i would deffinately get some gloss varnish on the eyeballs i think it will just add that extra gross factor.

i would also consider toning down the white of his paints with either some more greys and or pinstripes.

other than that looking good like the tail coat, and the contrast of the pink tentacles to his grey face.

Finished two of Abdiel's commissions. First up, the Cherub.

And next, the Doppleganger. That's actual chunks of mirror on the base by the way.

Doppleganger is still one of my favorite models. That came out really well. The mirror is a pretty cool idea.

Finished up Candy. She was a lot of fun to paint; her large head makes it easier to get in the tiny details I normally sort of skimp on.

The shadow was mostly my god-daughters idea. She can be a creepy little 9 year old when she wants to be.

Super work on Candy. I think that is the best painting Ive seen from you yet. Her facial features really give her the innocent, but sneaky feel.

It helps that she's really, REALLY easy to paint. She's one of the simplest of Wyrd's sculpts to paint; even her candy basket wasn't difficult, since it only required two-tone paint and white stripes. The swirl was kind of a pain though, gotta admit.

Oh, and in case anyone is interested, here's the image I was inspired from. I'm told its from some japanese h-game involving one of the Great Old Ones, so uh...track down at your own risk, I'd say. http://i51.tinypic.com/9gdeva.jpg
