Gauging Interest

Postby netgeist » Wed Oct 22, 2014 11:36 pm

I used to be an avid RPer and GM, running a lot of con games in the San Francisco area. I'm itching to get back to it and am curious about starting a series of monthly one-shot games. Ideally, they'd be at OtW if the schedule allows. I'd run a different game each month, in four to six hour slots. Games would include:

- D&D 5
- Call of Cthulhu
- Deadlands Reloaded (Savage World)
- Rippers (Savage World)
- Shadowrun
- Dark Heresy
- CthulhuTech
- Fate

Who would be interested in these events? What games would you want to see?

I would be super interested in playing all of them. I have not played a majority of them so it would be an interesting experience. My schedule though prevents me from playing except for Wednesday as every other day I work and Tuesday I am way too tired by the time I get back home.
Fantasy is cool. Sci-fi is cool too. But when you combine them, they become even cooler.

Wednesday rules out OtW, since it will be too loud with minis games. But there may be other locations.

If its once a month it would be fine anywhere besides the store if it would be too loud for you. I enjoy roleplaying so it's ok with me if I skip a week of 40k.

I played Shadowrun back in the day, that would be fun to get into again.

I'm going to chat with Adam tomorrow or Friday about running something in December. Call of Cthulhu of interest to anyone for the first one-shot?
