Avatars of War: Playing after Mordheim League wraps up

Postby Dez » Thu May 26, 2011 12:05 pm

Hey all,

Slim and I are going to be playing some games and checking out Avatars of War in earnest after the Mordheim league wraps up. I've arranged things at work recently where you should start seeing more of me on Wednesdays, and my Mother in Law finally retires this week.

So, who is interested? We can of course play games at OtW, but I also have a table in my office here at home and homebrew ;)

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

Absolutely don't care. The models are nice, but proxy all you want.

Supposedly the new version of the game is designed so you can use any miniatures youd like. Havent read through the rules yet to find out though.
