Winter 2017 Kill Teams League

Hello everyone, after some discussion with the officers, I am running a Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team League from Wednesday December 14th to Wednesday January 18th. We will be using the official Games Workshop Kill Team rules (and campaign options) instead of the Heralds of Ruin homebrew rules that were used in the past.

Very quick summary of the Kill Team Detachment rules:
• Players have up to 200 points to build their initial Kill Teams which must all be taken from a single Codex or Codex Supplement.
0-2 Troops
0-1 Elites
0-1 Fast Attack

• No HQ or Heavy Support units may be taken.
• Each Kill Team must have a minimum of 4 non-vehicle models, one of these will be your Leader and the other three your Specialists. Your Leader is automatically the character model with the highest Leadership in your team.
• A Kill Team cannot take any models with more than 3 Wounds or Hull Points.
• A Kill Team cannot take any vehicles with a combined (Front, Side, Rear) Armor total of more than 33.
• A Kill Team cannot take any Flyers.
• A Kill Team cannot take any models with a 2+ Armor Save.

Kill Team games are fairly quick (usually an hour or so) and from personal experience, light vehicles with a heavy weapon are very powerful. (Not that I'm bitter about that damned Razorback with a heavy bolter, no sir...)

For our first campaign I want to keep things relatively simple, and also hear what you would like to see. If you are interested in participating, please reply with your name, faction of choice, if you can commit to one game each week or one game every two weeks, and if you'd like some sort of overarching story (complete with bonuses for winning!) or keep it a free-for-all.

Kill Teams do not have to be painted, but I will judge you so hard...

Commitment: I can do one game per week
Story/FFA: I think an overarching campaign story would be good

Is there any sort of official roster sheet provided by GW?

Commitment: At least one game per week

I would be in for space marines and could commit to at least 1 game a week I think, with the possible exception of Christmas/new years time....

I believe I may even have a fully painted force for this!

Drew: No, there is no official roster, sadly. And no 30k Legions this time.

Joe: No, "generic Eldar" is fine right now.

This does bring up a good question, however. Do people have strong feelings (one way or the other) about Forge World models/rules?

Corwin, I will be bringing the might of the imperial guard. I should be able to get one a week especially after Christmas when I get weekends again

I'll be bringing my daemons.

I'd be good for either once a week or once every two weeks.

Story sounds like it would be interesting perhaps.

I think Forgeworld models would be ok to include.
Fantasy is cool. Sci-fi is cool too. But when you combine them, they become even cooler.
