Outspost Nine Dark Age Campaign

Hey guys and gals

Outpost Nine Dark Age Campaign

Using the Outpost Nine custom campaign in the Dark Age Campaign System document and the Warlords rising grow league Players will complete a 6 session campaign for the resource rich Outpost Nine. Players will adhere to following rules during the campaign:

The Sessions will be broken into 1 or 2 weeks segments at the EOs discretion. The sessions are friday to sunday with each new week starting on friday and an extra 2 days to make up the previous week's game.The session point values are:

Session 1: 300 pts
Session 2: 300 pts
Session 3: 500 pts
Session 4: 500 pts
Session 5: 750 pts
Session 6: 750 pts

During the 6 sessions the EO will assign a location for players to fight over. The 4 locations are:

1. The Mine Entrance: Use Mountain static and random events
2. The Wasteland Outpost: Use Generic static and random events
3. Living Quarters: Use Desolate Ruins static and random events
4. Forward Base: Use Desert static and random events

***No Battlefield Special Terrain Elements will be used during this campaign***

Players will only choose 1 motivation to achieve during this campaign.

Players will use the Making A Hero rules for this campaign as well as the casualty table.

Players will combine battle points and hobby points as detailed in Warlords Rising to gain Campaign points.

Players can play up to 3 league games per session.

report your games in the Outpost Nine Reporting thread and your painting in the Outpost Nine Painting thread.

I'll play with the Fire Caste. A few questions, though.
1) Where can I find the docs about having a Motivation and Making A Hero?
2) Are the sessions over 1 week or 2 weeks?
3) Are there going to be scheduled games, or is everything kinda free-form?

Hey,So The Questions were:

1) Where can I find the docs about having a Motivation and Making A Hero?

Answer: Motivations and Making a Hero can be found in the campaign document. The scoring rubrics for Battle points and Hobby Points can be found in Warlords rising. I've attached both to this.

2) Are the sessions over 1 week or 2 weeks?

Answer: Weekly, A new session starts every Friday. However, You have Saturday and Sunday to make up the previous weeks game. Sorry guys I thought I had fixed that. It now will read.

Answer: I'd like to do pairings. with the option for 2 Challenge games kind of Like Deadzone. I'm going to post a legit sign up here in this thread so I have a real roster. That was my fault for not having my S**t together enough Ahead of time. That will go up today. I'll pair for next week. I'd rather we just get games in this week than have me fiddle with pairings and delay it further.

No one else seems to have Air Caste, so I'll stick with them for this campaign. It will also encourage me to finish painting up my faction.

Joe: Air Caste

I am usually available on Tue or Wed for games... preferably Wed at OTW.
If we need to make other accommodations, please let me know, as I am occasionally available on other days.

Do you need submitted lists?

Also, as we escalate...do the new point values have to include your current list? In other words, does my 750 have to contain my 500 which contained my 300? or can they be new lists?

Hey,
I don't need submitted lists. Also due to some of the weird point levels in Dark Age I don't think adding on to existing rosters each escalation would be beneficial for this.

So, do I need to schedule a game this week or are we waiting for the pairings?

If we do need to get a game in this week, who is around tomorrow around 5:30 or 6pm?

or maybe Saturday?

So this week yes you should schedule a game. up to 3. I'll be around tomorrow. I'm running a demo for Dan around 4 I should be good to go after that. I know storrs is planning on coming tomorrow too.
