Keeping tokens

Post by Inquisitor Wall » Thu Dec 31, 2015 7:10 pm

Every ship seem to come with lots of tokens (shields, focus, bombs etc). Is there a need to keeping them all?

I keep them all.

No need at all. I only carry with me about 20 shield tokens and a small handful of focus, target lock, evade, and stress. The more you carry the more annoying it is to find pairs of locks that match and lug all your stuff around.
This just goes to show: No matter how stupid and useless a weapon may look to you, some guy in Asia with too much time on his hands has figured out how to use it to kill five ninjas.

Keep them at home. Throw them in a bag with your game stuff. You'll lose tokens, or other people may pick them up, and such. You want plenty of extras. When I play friends who borrow my stuff, I often use enough tokens for 200 pts. And sometimes you want even more.
For normal games, I keep a small bag. About 8 of each token, and maybe 30 shields.

As a point of emphasis, your life will be improved if you trim down your target locks especially. You will never need more than five pairs. In most games you won't use more than two.

I keep mine separated on the little baggies provided.

This week, I took a bunch of them out of my collection so I was carrying fewer. Expect to see some familiar tokens in other games... :)
