Age of Sigmar Tournament

Saturday, October 22nd, 2016

Doors Open at 10:00 AM

Dice Roll at 10:30 AM

$15 Entry Fee

Armies:

-No painting requirement

-All models must be fully assembled

-Contact the Tournament Organizer for approval of any “conversions” or “proxies”

-Prizes will be awarded

Games:

-Matched Play Games (See the General’s Handbook)

-Four rounds: Two “Vanguard” (1,000 point) games and Two “Regiments of Renown” (Skirmish) games

-Armies in the 1,000 point games need have only 1+ battleline units

-Regiments of renown armies are 150 points with the following restrictions:

-No Leaders, Behemoths, or Artillery units

-Forces are comprised of individual models, not units

-No unit champions, musicians, and standard bearers

-No model may cast spells

-Individual models act as their own units

-To calculate points for models:

Example: A unit of 10 Chaos Warriors = 180 points. Adding a single Chaos Warrior to your Regiment of Renown force costs 18 points (180/10). Round up if there is a remainder.

1. All of you should bring five copies of your army list (one for each opponent and one for me)

2. You army list must include both your 1,000 point list and your 150 point Regiments of Renown List.

3. Please indicate your Allegiance Abilities (Traits, Items, etc.) on your 1,000 point list. This must remain unchanged throughout the day.

4. Please arrive at 10:00 when the store opens. At that time I will be setting up the tables. Please set up your armies on an appropriate open space. Dice roll at 10:30 AM.

5. Here is a preliminary schedule for the event:

Round 1 10:30-12:00 (1,000 Points, Gifts from the Heavens)
Lunch 12:15-1:15
Round 2 1:30-2:30 (150 Points, Blood and Glory)
Round 3 2:45-3:45 (150 Points, Border War)
Round 4 4:00-5:30 (1,000 Points, Three Places of Power)

6. Scoring: In the 1,000 point games:
Win=20, Draw=10, Loss=0
In the Regiments of Renown games:
Win=10, Draw=5, Loss=0
Painting:
Top Tier=15, Middle Tier=10, Bottom Tier (Anything Unpainted)=0
Favorite Opponent Votes:
2 Votes=5, 3 votes=10, 4 votes=15

Fighting E.G.A.D.D Excitable Gamer Attention Deficit Disorder

I dig how in a setting where giant, muscled fungus men ride Mad Max cars and use their own teeth as currency, the concept of little engineering dudes with beards was considered a step too far down the aisle of silliness.

This should be a fun, narrative themed event. Anyone that is new should feel absolutely comfortable in attending, see you there!

I had a great time at this event, it was fun to meet some new players. In particular, it was awesome playing the 150 Regiments of Renown games. It was really fun, tactical, and played fast!
