Also, even though the book isn't out yet, they've moved all cult troops to the Elites page on the website.

However, it appears that all cult troops will become troops if you take a lord with the appropriate mark, or the associated special character. Demon princes don't move them to troops. Apparently abbadon makes chosen troops.

Also sounds like there are some legendary war gear items that are one per army. Curious to see what those are.

Kinda like SM used to have. That's neat. And I heard the same rumor, Kev.

It's unfortunate - I was just looking on GW's site, debating whether it would be easier to buy Obliterators and deal with their look or convert my own, and those models are just. . .ugly. And you have the same pair of arms repeated on all three models. Is there a particular reason they have to be spawning all of their available weapons at the same time? They mutate. We get it.

Also, how did I miss this - wargear is apparently back. Look under the second column of options for the Chaos Space Marines. It says the Aspiring Champion "May take items from the Melee Weapons and/or Ranged Weapons section of the Wargear list. That's kind of cool. Also, they updated it so that the Marks of Chaos are points per model, not per unit. The flat cost regardless of unit size never made sense to me.

Flat cost per unit was great when you were spreading the cost out per model. However, now it will be easier for smaller units to justify the cost. I also like how you can get different icons in addition to the marks. It would make for some very expensive troop choices, but it's nice to have the option.

Hey Slim, what are the chances you downloaded those pics? I finally got time to check things out..and most of the links are now dead.

I can't quite tell, because there's a hand in the way, but it looks like Cultists will be able to mix autoguns and autopistol/CCW in a single unit. I'm guessing because of the line that starts off "Any Cultist may exchange. . ." That would be nice, as then the Dark Vengeance cultists can be formed into a single unit of twenty.
