Re: Sedition Wars

I found the quick reference sheets a great way to help bring a new player up to speed on the rules as well. :) After playing with Mike again, (and admittedly making some pretty bad moves) I would say the game doesn't seem as unbalanced. Force selection can make a big difference and the scenarios can...

Damn, those look much better than my strain! My only hope is yours took longer to finish. ;)

Re: i might want to play dystopian wars

I concur with Kevin's comments. Its not terribly expensive to enter the game, quick to paint up your models vs other games, and a few extra models added to the starter fleet will give you lots of options. (Extras I would recommend adding to basic set - one massive or large, one squad of smalls, and ...

Re: Combat Reform

"Wouldn't it be interesting if you could move half your normal movement value each turn while in combat? So you could gradually move, including sideways, i.e. slide, so that units could correct problems with clipping?" I think this would be a great addition and would make sense. Perhaps in...

Combat Reform

During the tournament this weekend, Jonah and I had a disagreement about how combat reform works. I was under the impression that you could slide a unit over to bring more models into contact and Jonah argued that the move violated the stipulations of the requirements for a reform. I wanted to publi...

I'm planning on attending. If you haven't been to one of Jon's tourneys before, he runs a great event with good terrain, interesting scenarios, and tight organization. Worth the trip. Its a good bunch of gamers to boot! :)
